Manager Media Planner – GTA
Location: Greater Toronto Area (Hybrid)
Schedule: Monday to Friday (3 days in office and 2 days remote)
Salary: $75,000 to $85,000

About the Role
We are looking for a Manager Media Planner to join our growing media team. This is a hands-on, strategy-driven role ideal for an experienced digital planner with a strong agency background and a passion for data-led decision making. You will be responsible for translating client business objectives into insight-driven digital media strategies that deliver performance and brand impact.
This role requires a 360° planning mindset, anchored by advanced digital expertise across paid media channels, platforms, and performance analytics, with the ability to connect digital strategy to broader, integrated media plans.
 
Key Responsibilities
- Develop integrated digital media strategies and detailed media plans aligned with brand and performance objectives
- Lead digital media planning across platforms including Google, Meta, YouTube, Programmatic, LinkedIn, and emerging channels
- Leverage audience insights, platform data, and performance signals to inform recommendations and planning decisions
- Partner closely with internal strategy, account, and activation teams to ensure seamless execution
- Analyze campaign performance and translate results into clear, actionable insights and optimization recommendations
- Support sales growth and forecasting through performance analysis and media efficiency insights
- Contribute to client presentations, proposals, and pitch materials as required
- Stay current on platform updates, industry trends, and digital innovations
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in digital media planning and strategy within a media agency
- Strong understanding of digital media platforms, buying models, and KPIs
- Proven experience working with analytics tools, dashboards, and performance reporting
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with experience presenting insights and recommendations to internal teams and clients
- Experience with audience segmentation, attribution models, and full-funnel campaigns
- Exposure to both brand-building and performance-driven media strategies
- Experience working across multiple industries, including financial services, retail, or consumer brands
